Heart Disease Patient was Given 30 Days to Live
Summary:
Ben Walker, a father to four sons and grandfather to five grandchildren, never
imagined he would be in the hospital for
congestive heart failure with only 30 days
to live.
July 6, 2005- In August 2003, at the age of 75, Ben visited a local clinic for a cold and breathing problems. Having been in good health all his life, he never thought anything major would be wrong. After several blood tests and chest x-rays he was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and given 30 days to live.
At the age of 77, Ben Walker's doctor was amazed to see him walk into his office alive and healthy.
Ben was asked to stay overnight for more tests and was given several cardiovascular medications. He refused to stay overnight because he wanted to see his family doctor.
His family doctor confirmed the diagnosis of congestive heart failure with a death sentence. He was told he would only have 30 days to live. Alarmed, Ben trusted his doctor and took all the medications he was prescribed. However his health dropped rapidly. Ben became very ill and he was immediately rushed to the Emergency Room.
While in intensive care, Ben was under detailed supervision for three weeks. At the end of his stay in intensive care, Ben's doctors recommended bypass heart surgery, even though they could not determine a definite prognosis. Ben had a gut instinct, refused surgery and signed himself out of the hospital. Ben was aware that the surgery would not take care of all his congestive heart issues.
Ben recalls his experience saying, "I went home and I couldn't sleep, I couldn't eat and I was always shaking. Then I remembered hearing about Envita Natural Medical Center on a Saturday morning radio program, so I asked my son to take me."
At Envita Natural Medical Center, the doctors discovered he was having severe adverse reactions to the medications given to him by his doctor and that they were actually, in fact, killing him slowly.
The doctors at Envita created a customized treatment plan for Ben's condition. This plan allowed him to discontinue use of the many cardiovascular medications slowly and properly.
According to the doctors at Envita, "When people have cardiovascular problems or are on cardiovascular medications, they should never discontinue their medications without proper supervision of a physician. Working with Ben's cardiology team, together we were able to make a difference in his health condition."
They go on saying, "It is not uncommon for people to have major adverse reactions to medications, especially when patients are taking many medications. Patients with cardiovascular problems are usually given an estimated survival period of 5 years. The reason is that doctors are not treating the cause of the symptoms to get a long-term resolution. One must put together a plan for the whole condition."
Ben opted to utilize Envita's natural, non-toxic treatments, which through extensive research around the world have shown great success. These treatments quickly and successfully helped improve his health.
Ben says, "I went back home after receiving a treatment from Envita and in a matter of three days I felt better, in three weeks I felt great. That December when I went to see my doctor, he was amazed to see me walk into his office alive and healthy. He said I should have been dead."
Now, Ben is one of Envita's biggest fans. As an advocate of Envita, he credits his quality of life to their treatments.
"I should be dead by now but Envita saved my life. I owe my life to the Envita Medical Team. I am a living example of how powerful natural medicine can be for healing heart conditions. If it weren't for Envita, I would not be here today. They will always receive my highest recommendation."
The Envita team of doctors and staff were honored to have Ben Walker become yet another success story.
Today Ben is alive 2 ½ years longer than his doctors ever expected and he is still going strong. The doctors at Envita expect Ben to be in good health for years to come.
